10th June 2004 Windsurfing: Ynylas Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 5- 20 Surf / Sea State: Choppy Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started early with the 8.0 and xray and messed around trying to plane. Got some good runs when the gusts came through. Headed back for lunch. The wind then picked up and I went out again with the big kit and had some awsome overpowered runs. Rather tricky through the swells but had a ball. I expected to wind to stay so rigged the 6.4 and Style. Well that could only have done one thing and the wind dropped. At about 3pm the wind picked up and I had one of the best sessions this year. I eventually had to come in due to severe cramp in my calves and hamstrings. It has been 3 weeks since I sailed last and it showed. It would have been 5 stars had the cramp not shortened the the day. |
